12 weeks to go! I can't believe it!! This week went really fast and I'm thinking the next 12 weeks will too. So far we have bought a few new outfits and been given all my nephews clothes which are pretty much brand new (thanks Michelle!!). We have a bunch of gender neutral blankets left over from MJ, her burp cloths, her bassinet, her cot (we will be getting MJ a bed when jelly bean is ready for the cot), a jungle themed swing which we were given (thanks Suzie!!) as MJs swing is pink, an adorable lamp we were given (thanks again Suzie!), 2 boxes of newborn nappies which were bought for us (thanks Amanda!) and a massive amount of toys which are a combination of MJs, Michelle's and Suzie's. We are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends.
We still need to purchase a baby bath, a larger car seat for MJ, our cot sheet set which won't be used until jelly bean is 4-6 months old, swaddles, a couple blue blankets, bath products and my hospital items! I know we have left it very last minute but I'm worried alot of that will be bought for us at our baby shower so besides the car seat, we won't be buying much until after the baby shower.
We also haven't set up any sort of nursery as we may be moving very soon and our house is only 3 bedrooms. So I will have to swap the girls rooms so MJ has the larger room, then put jelly bean in with MJ. I don't want to do all that if we're moving soon after!!! So we won't be buying nursery decorations until we know what were doing!
Week: 28 weeks!!!!
Pregnancy symptoms: I'm starting to get quite hungry but I'm trying to be good! I'm still feeling a little tired and my indigestion is getting worse!
Moody/happy: Happy chappy this week! :)
Total weight gain: 73.5 kgs
Movement: Jelly bean is so active! I know MJ was even more active then this but I don't remember it so this is just as amazing and new to me! I had a very very late night (5am) one night this week and he didn't really move for 2 days. I got so worried, I was planning on making a trip to the hospital, but after some rest, he went right back to kicking like crazy :) Lesson I have learnt; I'm not 16 anymore and my baby needs rest!!!
Best moment this week: We had our first midwife appointment today :) It went really well which I'm so thankful for. I was really worried because last pregnancy I had a bad experience with my midwife centre and ended up seeing a private OB. Jelly bean is measuring a week ahead which needs to be monitored. I'm hoping this doesn't mean he is going to be a big boy :s Ouch!!! Otherwise everything else was perfect!!
Looking forward to: Sharing love with my family and friends this christmas! 4 days until Christmas and it couldn't have snuck up on me any quicker! I still have 3 presents to buy!!! Eeeeppp
