24 week pregnancy update :)

Its been one hectic busy week!!!

Week: 24 weeks

Pregnancy symptoms: Be careful what you wish for. I've been saying this pregnancy has become very slow and boring, and as many of you know I've been having back troubles. Well I went on a cleaning rampage again, then I drove almost 2 hours away and back again 2 days in a row which left me almost cripple. It got to the point where even rolling over in bed was impossible and I was couch bound :( then on Tuesday night the pain went from my back to my groin and I got very panicked because I felt so much pressure and shooting pains that I thought labour was trying to jump start. I cant even beginto explain how painful it was. On top of that we all have a horrible cold so Mary-Jane was awake most of the night with me in this unbareable pain and poor Tom ended up having to try to settle her which gave him about half an hour of sleep all night. I gave up trying to sleep at 5am and went to the toilet which is when a huge light bulb appeared over my head like in the cartoons. This was like a uti but a million times worse. So off to the doc I went and sure enough there was huge amounts of blood and protein in my urine. That's why labour felt like it was on its way, because uti's can put you in labour, especially severe ones like I had. I still have slight back pain but if that's all I have to live with for the next 16 weeks, I'm happy!! I'm still battling a cold but fingers crossed it goes away soon.

Moody/happy: A bit of both. If I didn't have the uti and cold I'm positive I would have been happy all week but being so sick and almost cripple got me a little down :( But I'm very happy now even though I still have the cold, because..... It's my birthday Sunday!!!!!!!

Total weight gain: 73kgs

Sleep: The first 4 nights of the week were awful, I basically didn't sleep at all. The last 3 days however, I can't get enough sleep! I could sleep all day, it's that fantastic!

Looking forward to: My birthday is on Sunday!!!!!!! I already started celebrating 2 days ago lol. I think Tom has a few suprises up his sleeve for this weekend and my step sisters 21st party is on Saturday so busy busy busy! 

Best moment this week: The Troy and Adam concert :) We had so much fun!
